In our last post, we told you about the changes we’ve made or which are in process for some of our accounting and finance functions. In this post, we want to talk about some new and upcoming features in Payments.
ACH In case you missed it, Recurly is proud to now offer support forACH payments. This allows you to collect or refund money directly to a customer’s bank account, without having to deal with physical checks. This is a great option if you are usinginvoice billingor if your invoices involve large dollar amounts.
Online payments for manual invoices While adding support for ACH, we also built functionality that will let your customers pay manual invoices online. They can even set up future payments to be automatic, and they can do this for any payment method Recurly supports: credit card, PayPal, Amazon, or ACH. As your business grows and the number of manual invoices increases, this will save you a lot of time and headaches!
New gateways and currencies
Recurly is also investing in our credit card processing abilities. We added a new integration with FirstData Payeezy gateway. At the moment, this gateway is only available for merchants based in the US, butlet us know if you are based outside of the US and would like to use this gateway. We also now support Stripe payments in Nordic countries and Braintree and Cybersource gateway payments inSingapore.
What are we working on now?
Fraud prevention In anticipation of the switch to EMV later this year and the impact that will have on CNP fraud, Recurly is building an integration with one of the industry’s leading fraud-detection solutions. This will save you time and money by accurately detecting fraudulent transactions before we send them to your payment gateway for processing.
Worldpay We are excited to be working on integrating with Worldpay’s online service for processing credit card payments. Worldpay has 25 years of experience with multi-currency and cross-border transactions, and they offer the ability to process payments in over 130 countries worldwide.
If you’re interested in any of these upcoming features, we would love tohear from you.
