SubSummit 2019 in New Orleans has just wrapped up, and the attendees from Recurly had a blast meeting with industry partners and prospective clients. Chief of Staff Emma Clark led a discussion on “Subscription Benchmarks,” and the team even found a little time to explore the Big Easy.

Over the course of three days, representatives from our team spoke with many vendors involved in subscription commerce, including payment gateways, merchant acquirers, and fulfillment companies. Prospective customers who stopped by the Recurly booth were treated to product information and industry banter from our sales team. We noticed an uptick in educational subscription offerings including STEM, art, and writing kits.

On the first afternoon of SubSummit 2019, Emma Clark gave a talk on “Subscription Benchmarks” to an interested audience. Her talk was followed by several minutes of Q&A and some extended conversations on the show floor. Other team members attended talks on topics ranging from marketing to customer retention to innovation.
