Recurly is pleased to announce a new partnership with GoCardless, the leading global fintech for recurring payments, which will allow our customers to provide additional payment options to their subscribers and prospects. These new bank debit options include SEPA (Eurozone) and Bacs (UK), along with ACH (USA). More than 30% of Recurly’s customers are either selling globally or have immediate ambitions to grow globally. These new payment options, available in Q1 2020, will enable Recurly merchants to grow their international subscriber base, increase revenue, and reduce the fees associated with using other payment methods.
“Today’s businesses are increasingly turning to subscription-based models to retain a steady stream of revenue through recurring payments,” said Hiroki Takeuchi, GoCardless co-founder and CEO.
“The integration of GoCardless with our platform is in direct response to customer feedback, particularly those who have global expansion plans. Businesses will now be able to access a range of global bank debit options, broaden their reach to a much wider scope of international customers, and in turn, tap into new revenue streams,” said Dan Burkhart, CEO of Recurly.
In addition to supporting a number of popular global payment methods, Recurly supports a wide range of international currencies. We offer a checkout experience in the subscriber's language, as well as checkout forms optimized for desktop and mobile. Read more about how we support global e-commerce in our blog.

The value of Recurly is that we no longer have to worry about the different aspects of subscription management. Instead, we can focus on things that are our core competency, like adding value to our service and expanding our offering. That’s been a huge win for us.
